About Us

ELTE PPK Campus
The Teacher Education and Higher Education Studies (EDiTE) Doctoral Program of ELTE was originally developed in the framework of a European Union funded international project in partnership with five European universities with a focus on research on teachers and teacher education. The scope of the program was later extended to involve the field of higher education studies. Participants of the program arrive from different countries, especially from Eastern and Central Asia, South-America, and Africa.

In our current endeavor to further international cooperation and professional development, we are seeking proposals representing a broad perspective of teacher education and higher education research, and/or offering opportunities for networking and participation in workshops and meetings for doctoral students, doctoral supervisors, and leaders of doctoral schools in cooperation with the following partner institutions:

  • University of Aveiro, Portugal
  • Freiburg University of Education, Germany
  • University of Innsbruck, Austria
  • University of Lisbon, Portugal
